　　潍县皆集营是中国单体最大的西方外侨皆集营，1943年到1945年时间，曾关押过2000多名西方外侨，其中包括327名儿童。关押在这里的同友邦外侨来自英国、好意思国、比利时、荷兰、澳大利亚等国度。

　　As China's largest single internment camp for Western civilians, the Weihsien Concentration Camp once held over 2,000 foreign nationals from 1943 to 1945, including 327 children.Allied nationals detained here came from countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Australia.

　　皆集营内，外侨们用功过活，皆集营外，中国老庶民冒着人命危急为这些番邦友东说念主提供匡助，为凄怨中的外侨带来生的但愿。在记载片中，咱们见证了伙夫谭云龙过甚邻居韩绪庭等世俗中国老庶民，与皆集营内的外侨建树奥密酌量，用竹竿挑送生活物质；掏粪工张兴泰父子更是将外侨的求救信带给了潍县抗日武装组织，最终促成了恒安石和狄兰的获胜出逃，为皆集营内的外侨开放了通往开脱的大门；1945年8月17日，七名武装伞兵解放了皆集营，这七东说念主包括六名好意思军和又名中国翻译王成汉……这一系列果敢活动，不仅展现了中国东说念主民的聪敏与勇气，更长远体现了在干戈眼前，东说念主类共有的对开脱与和平的渴慕。

　　Inside the camp, the internees endured harsh conditions. Outside, local Chinese risked their lives to provide aid, offering hope amid despair.The documentary highlights the bravery of ordinary people like Tan Yunlong, a cook, and his neighbor Han Xuting, who secretly passed supplies to the internees using bamboo poles.The cleaning workersZhang Xingtai and his son helped smuggle out a plea for help, leading to the escape of Arthur W. Hummel Jr. and Laurance Tipton—an act that opened the door to freedom for many.On August 17, 1945, the camp was liberated by seven paratroopers—six Americans and Chinese interpreter Wang Chenghan.These courageous actions reflect not only the wisdom and bravery of the Chinese people but also a shared human longing for freedom and peace in times of war.
